This course will provide a review of standardized neurologic monitoring in the adult and pediatric ICU using didactics and skill stations. Participants will review neurologic monitoring modalities, including advantages and disadvantages of their use in the ICU. The course will focus on using neurologic monitoring at the bedside and will benefit those wanting more experience and an update on the clinical application of and indications for different modalities, targeted to non-neurologic practitioners and trainees. This is a fundamental course for medical professionals working in a non-neurointensive setting.
