John N. Kheir, MD is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, a Senior Staff Member in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Boston Children's Hospital, and Director of the Translational Research Lab in the Boston Children's Heart Center. His clinical and research interests surround the development and translation of new technologies to improve intensive care, including the development of injectable oxygen gas microparticles, the use of inhaled hydrogen gas as a therapeutic agent (now in Phase I/II study), and the development of a software platform to improve workflow and decision-making in the intensive care setting.
