Casey Albin, MD is an assistant professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery and a neurointensivist at Emory University. She is a passionate clinician educator and serves on the Editorial Board of Neurocritical Care Society’s ONCALL and the Digital Strategy Team for Stroke: Vascular and Interventional Neurology. She is a co-editor of the Acute Neurology Survival Guide and a frequent contributor to free, open access medical education blogs and podcasts. Her research interest is in the development of novel teaching strategies through simulation and social media to improve the care of patients with neurologic emergencies, work that is supported by the American Academy of Neurology.
