Scott P. Sherry, MS, PA-C, FCCM is the inaugural Sepsis Program Manager at Oregon Health and Science University. As a Physician Assistant, he has been practicing in Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery for 20 years.
Scott went to the University of Maryland Baltimore County as an undergraduate. He majored in Emergerncy Health Services and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science. After graduation he served as a Paramedic with New Castle County, Delaware EMS. In 2000 he attended attended the Physisican Assistant School at Rosalind Franklin in Chicago, Illinois graduating in 2002 with a Masters of Science.
His professional interest include Trauma Systems, Sepsis, Coding and Billing, Burnout, Prehospital Care, Disaster Management. He has served as an editor for 2 editions of Interventional Critical Care, A Manual for Advanced Care Practitioners and is a member of Oregon’s National Disaster Medical Assistant Team.
