Michelle Rausen, MS, RRT, RRT-NPS is the Technical Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department and Pulmonary Function Laboratories at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She earned her AS in Respiratory Care from Massasoit Community College, BS in Health Science from the University of Connecticut, and MS in Respiratory Care Leadership from Northeastern University. She spent the majority of her clinical career at Massachusetts General Hospital caring for all patient populations as a staff respiratory therapist and ECMO specialist. In her current role she oversees Registered Respiratory Therapists at several locations within Manhattan, serves on many hospital-wide committees and participates in research. She is a member of the advisory board for the Respiratory Care Program at Long Island University, is an active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care and has been appointed to several committees within the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
