Dr. Andrew Pellet is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Surgery at Albany Medical College where clinically he serves the role of Emergency physician and Intensivist.
He completed his medical school training at The University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine. He went on to complete half of a Surgery residency at the University of Vermont before recognizing that his true calling was in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. He changed paths and went on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency and an Ultrasound fellowship at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine with the Department of Anesthesiology at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center.
He is board certified in Emergency medicine and Surgical Critical Care as well as a Testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography’s Critical Care Echocardiography Exam.
Dr. Pellet serves the role as course director of critical care echocardiography for Albany Medical College's Emergency Medicine Resuscitation Fellowship. He is passionate about ultrasound education and its utilization in the management of the critically ill.
