Anne Rain T. Brown, PharmD, BCCCP, FCCM is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina and then went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, followed by a PGY2 Critical Care Residency at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Brown is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and a Past-President of the SCCM Texas Chapter. She currently serves as the Past Chair of the SCCM Drug Shortages and Medication Safety Committee, Chair of the Advanced Pharmacotherapy Taskforce, Chair of the SCCM CPP Education Committee, and Member-At-Large for the SCCM Chapters Alliance. At MD Anderson, she maintains an active practice in Critical Care and Nutrition Support and is actively engaged in research for oncologic emergencies including diffuse alveolar hemorrhage and CAR T-cell therapy toxicities.
