In this topic, the audience will be introduced about the cost, the operations and the benefits of the ICU-based CCRU model. The CCRU was established in 2013 and Quincy Tran, MD, PhD, FACEP, FCCM has been working since its beginning. He is also an author for many CCRU-related publications. The topic will conclude with a brief overview of other novel non-traditional ICU settings that have been successfully implemented.
