Once pressure ulcers develop, they can be a great challenge to heal. There are new strategies and techniques for wound healing including plasma gel techniques and amniotic tissue stimulation that will be discussed. This presentation will delve into the many strategies to best improve more rapid healing of large ulcers, including nutrition, medications, multiple new dressings, and surgical closure techniques.
