AKI in liver disease depends on the underlying liver disease- acute, chronic or acute on chronic liver failure. In this lecture, AKI in different settings of liver failure will be explored with a special mention and discussion on hepatic-renal syndrome. Management strategies in each of these conditions will be discussed along with impact on transplant free survival and mortality.
