As much as there is controversy in the timing of initiation of CKRT in children, there is no evidence to guide when a clinician should stop CKRT. In this talk, various factors that influence liberation from CKRT and various techniques currently used to achieve this will be discussed. Use of diuretic or fluid challenge will be described along with transition to intermittent modalities.
