This session will focus on toxicities of newer drug classes as well as recreational drugs that have increased and expanded in use.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize hypersensitivity reactions associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors and other targeted therapies for cancer
  • List potential drug-related causes of cytokine release syndrome
  • Discuss the mechanism(s) of euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis
  • Recognize potential drug toxicities of recreational and drugs of abuse, including those delivered through vaping
