Traditional methods of publication take months, even after a paper is accepted. The peer review process is often opaque. When information needs to be disseminated rapidly, we need to be able to see information quickly. Additionally, pre-print offers public peer review and transparency in the revision process. Being able to disseminate information quickly and in a viral method allows for better science and better care.
