Data harmonization is the process of extracting data from the electronic health record, transforming it to a common data model, and loading it into a database. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) traditionally requires significant effort from highly skilled analysts and data scientists with guidance from clinical experts. This session describes how the Edge Tool helps to lower the barrier to ETL by wrapping a wide range of tools in a convenient and user-friendly interface.
