In this section of our session, our faculty and panelists will engage the audience participants through stimulating interactive sessions, particularly focusing on approaches to “negative” or constructive feedback and other difficult situations. They will simulate various situations requiring “difficult feedback.” Immediately following our introduction to the “toolkit” of strategies for effective feedback, this segment of our session thrusts our audience directly into practice through this interactive, simulation- and case-based learning experience.
Cases will be enacted by our presenters to simulate situations requiring feedback, and forum theatre and audience response polling will then be employed to directly engage the audience and test attendees’ knowledge of the learning principles presented. Audience participants will have the opportunity to “choose their own adventure” to determine the next steps. This will allow attendees to interact with the content and put these methods into immediate application through practice and interactive forum discussions.
