This session will consider the biochemistry, pharmacology, classical indications, and evolving understanding of adverse effects of gastric acid blockers administered to critically ill adults and children.

Examine the evolution of evidence-based indication and expanding contraindications for gastric acid blockers administered to critically ill patients
