W. Michael Taylor, MD, MPH is currently the chief fellow in the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship. His research focuses on strengthening health systems through utilizing data and clinical decision support to prevent, recognize, and treat the early clinical deterioration in pediatric patients under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Horvat. He completed pediatrics residency at the University of Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University, his Master of Public Health in Global Health Policy from The Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
