Dr. Kimia Honarmand is a critical care physician and the Medical Director of the Long Stay Critical Care Program at Mackenzie Health, Ontario, Canada. She is a clinical epidemiologist and holds a Masters of Science degree in from the University of Toronto and is a PhD candidate at McMaster University's Health Research Methodology Program. She serves as a guideline methodologist and the Director of the Education pillar for GUIDE group at McMaster University, Director of Knowledge Translation with the Canadian Critical Care Society, and on the editorial board for the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia. As a clinical epidemiologist, she has expertise in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, survey methodology, and qualitative and mixed methods research.
