Michael Lanspa, MD, is director of the Intermountain Critical Care Echocardiography Service. His research emphasizes the application of echocardiography and other non-invasive methods to aid in management of sepsis and shock. He has served as regular faculty for SCCM courses on critical care echocardiography and ultrasound, both nationally and internationally.
