I completed medical school at Seth G. S. Medical College, University of Mumbai - one of the top training programs in India. Being inspired through the special needs and challenges of pediatric patients during the rotatory internship, I opted for residency training in Pediatrics. My dissertation work won The Best Thesis Award by Indian Journal of Pediatrics in India. Being always excited to take on the challenges and inspired to learn, I decided to pursue career in pediatric critical care medicine in the USA. In 2006, I joined Pediatric Residency program at Childrens Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. My fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the oldest and one of the largest free standing children's hospitals in the US strengthened my ability to excel in taking care of critically ill and injured children. It also allowed me perform cutting-edge research under mentorship of Drs. Vinay Nadkarni and Robert Berg, two giants in science of cardiac arrest and CPR. I gained tremendous experience as a physician and physician-scientist during my time as a faculty at Johns Hopkins University before joining Baylor College of Medicine at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio as Director of Research. I served as Chair of Research Task Force at Driscoll Health System in Texas, USA before starting my own research consultation firm - BestResearch. I have a successful track record of leadership in research at various institutions in USA as well as Society of Critical Care Medicine and I have a long-standing record of serving as reviewer and editor for multiple medical journals. Through BestResearch, I aim to coach and mentor the researchers through their research journey so they can achieve their research goals.
