Brian C. Peach, PhD, RN, CCRN is an Assistant Professor in the University of Central Florida College of Nursing, where he serves as principal investigator on 3 funded studies pertaining to intensive care unit delirium and post-intensive care syndrome. He and his team are currently trialing a compressed virtual reality exposure therapy (C-VRET) intervention with adult critical illness survivors suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition to his research, Dr. Peach teaches critical care, acute care adult health, and pathophysiology courses and works per diem in the multisystem intensive care unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
