Arnaldo E. Alvarez Melendez is from Carolina, Puerto Rico, has a Bachelor in Science with a Major in Biology Emphasize in Molecular Celular Biology from the Univeristy of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedra Campus. Currently a MD Candidate for the 2026 from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. I actively contributed to diverse research projects, including Case Reports on Aggressive Management as a Tool to Prevent Fatality in Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome and the Clinical Implications of Toxic Megacolon Induced by Ulcerative Colitis in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, investigations like A Comparative Analysis of Propofol and Dexmedetomidine for Pediatric Sedation during Outpatient Brain MRI Procedures, an exploration of Access to Mental Health Resources among Undergraduate Students in Puerto Rico, and a study on Biomarkers in the Plasma of Hispanic patients with type 2 diabetes for the early diagnosis of Diabetic Kidney Disease using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay.
