Taylor Carr, PharmD is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He is originally from Corbin, Kentucky. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky and completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. His current professional interests include management of analgesia and sedation, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and nutrition support. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is also involved with the resident wellness committee, the Perioperative P&T Subcommittee, and the Opioid Stewardship P&T Subcommittee. Following completion of his postgraduate training, Dr. Carr plans to obtain a position in the medical intensive care unit at an academic medical center.
