Fellow Physician
University of Tennessee Medical Center Knoxville
Hi! I am Raghu Tiperneni, currently working as a third-year Internal Medicine resident and Chief resident at the Rutgers Health/Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey. Got my M.B.B.S at the Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 2016 (medical school).
Prior to my residency, I worked at Stanford University, California creating teaching material for Medical School students, Residents, and Fellows.
I am passionate about process improvements focused on improving patient outcomes which led me to be involved in multiple quality improvement projects at the Rutgers Health/Monmouth Medical Center.
I am the Internal Medicine Class Representative for the past two and half years and I was awarded as the Intern of the Year during by first year of residency. I am an active member of the Diversity and Inclusion committee at the hospital. I recently matched in to Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at University of Tenessee, Knoxville and will be joining them in July 2023.
Recreationally, I love to travel to low-key destinations and engage in different recreational activities. I volunteer in free time at vaccination clinics, along with career guidance for kids from low socioeconomic status in India. Always love to spend time with my family and friends, my stress buster.
