Anna Krupp, PhD, MSHP, RN, is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Iowa. Dr. Krupp’s program of research focuses on ICU-based strategies to improve the care delivery and outcomes of critically ill patients. Her initial focus is on improving long-term functional outcomes of ICU survivors by understanding nurse decision-making within the context of early mobility interventions, identifying patient risk for functional decline using predictive modeling, and describing symptom and physical function trajectories during hospitalization. Her long-term goal aims to develop and implement sustainable, systems-based interventions to improve long-term outcomes for patients that require ICU care.
