Dr. Jeremy Michael Neese, M.D., is a third-year Pediatric Critical Care fellow at Nemours Children's Health. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and subsequently completed his Pediatric Residency at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC, showcasing a commitment to comprehensive pediatric training. Dr. Neese's dedication to specialized care led him to a position at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Pediatric Critical Care Hospitalist. He now serves as Chief Fellow in his Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, DE.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Neese actively engages in research and quality improvement initiatives. His research interests include enteral nutrition, sedation, and non-invasive ventilation. Notably, he coordinates a Virtual Pediatric Systems (VPS) project aimed at enhancing PICU discharge processes. His involvement in various committees including the PICU Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee, highlights his dedication to fostering inclusive and equitable healthcare environments. Beyond his clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Neese is a passionate educator. He has delivered lectures, presentations, and simulations on diverse topics, ranging from critical asthma management to tracheostomy in adolescents to a range of current and future healthcare professionals.
