Jeroen Molinger, MS, Sub Investigator: is a senoir lead clinical medical exercise physiologist who is specialized in
metabolic cart assessments, metabolic imaging and exercise physiology in the perioperative care.
Jeroen Molinger earned two master’s degrees with honors; Physical therapie / manual therapy at the
College of University SOMT, Clinical exercise physiology at the University Maastricht. A Post-master
MSK ultrasound at the College of University SonoSkills done to be an official certified.
At Duke he serves as the Lead Clinical Exercise Physiologist of the Human Physiology and
Pharmacology lab (HPPl) and is therefore responsible of all CPET test done in the lab in regard to
research.
Primary focus of this taskforce was assessing and implementing the use of metabolic cart,
ultrasound, CT and bioimpedance spectroscopy in the critically ill patient; to be able to tailor
interventions on the level of the phenotype at hand.
