Daniel Aragon, MD, MBA, Critical Care Medicine Fellow
University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, New York
Hello Everyone!
I am Daniel Aragón. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. My father is from Nicaragua, and my mother is from Mexico. I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas Pan American, my medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Houston Clear Lake where I also had the opportunity of becoming a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional through the Healthcare Financial Management Association. To best serve Spanish speaking patients, I decided to become a Certified Medical Interpreter through the National Board of Certified Medical Interpreters. I completed Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and am a current Critical Care Medicine Fellow at the University of Rochester Medical Center. I am excited to meet y'all and feel privileged to join the SCCM community in Pheonix, Arizona as we continually learn how to best care for our critically ill patients.
