Stephanie R. L. Ciapala, PharmD, BCCCP is a CVICU Pharmacy Clinical Specialist at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, USA. Areas of research interest include pain, agitation, and delirium management, refractory vasoplegia, surgical antimicrobial prophylaxis, and anticoagulation and factor concentrates as related to cardiac surgery. Dr. Ciapala is an active member of SCCM's Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section's Communications and Membership committees, as well as an active member within other pharmacy organizations including ACCP and ASHP.
