Daniel Muñoz-Pichuante, PharmD, BCCCP, holds a University Diploma in Health Technology Assessment and a Master's in Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Drug Dosage Individualization from the University Miguel Hernández in Elche, Spain. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Pharmacometrics at the same institution, I have a professional background as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Critical Care Patients Unit at Base Valdivia Hospital in Valdivia, Chile. Additionally, I serve as a Professor at the Science Faculty, Pharmacy Institute, University Austral of Chile, also located in Valdivia.
With 10 years of experience as a Pharmacist specializing in Critical Care, my primary areas of research interest encompass clinical pharmacokinetics and critical care management. I am proud to have authored 12 publications, including 5 as the first author, and contributed a chapter to a book on Pharmacoeconomics.
In 2018, I achieved the BCCCP credential, marking a significant milestone as the first Pharmacist in Latin America to attain this certification. At 33 years old, I am dedicated to advancing my field and contributing to the improvement of critical care pharmacy practices.
