Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
Jacob Desman MSE, BS, is a second year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Engineering degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on biomedical data science and computational medicine. At Mount Sinai, Jacob is a member of the Augmented Intelligence in Medicine and Science (AIMS) Lab where his research interests are centered on leveraging machine learning to enhance the treatment of critically ill patients. He has recently been recognized as a THRIVE fellow through Sinai BioDesign and placed second in the Mount Sinai Pitch competition.
