Gabor Kosa (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering
from Technion, Israel. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with ETH Zurich, Switzerland, working on novel
sensing for haptics and swimming micro robots, leading the Biomedical Micro Systems Group. He
is currently a Senior Scientist working with the Intelligent Medical Micro/Nano Systems Group,
University Hospital Basel on a diagnostic device for malaria and medical robotics. His research interests
are: micro systems and micro robots for biomedical applications, medical robotics, bio-inspired sensing systems, and mobile
robots.
