Samir Latifi, MBBS, FAAP, FRCPCH is Chair of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Children's since 2017. He graduated from Guy's Hospital Medical School in London, and completed his pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric critical care at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Following this in 2004 he returned to the UK to work in the PCICU at the Royal Brompton hospital in London for a year, and then as a PICU consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for 7 years before returning to the US. His current research interests are in clinical deterioration and organ donation serving also as the pediatric medical director for Lifebanc the organ procurement organization in NE Ohio.
