Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensivist
University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital
My name is Heidi R Flori, MD. I am an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. I am a Pediatric Intensivist in clinical practice and I retain a strong focus of clinical and translational research in Pediatric Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (PARDS) and sepsis. My current work centers around sub-phenotype identification using clinical and plasma biomarkers of PARDS. I also enjoy collaborative efforts on execution of large observational and clinical trials in pediatric intensive care and consensus document generation. I have been fortunate to work on both the Pediatric Surviving Sepsis Campaign and the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury Consensus Committees.
