I Direct the Cardiothoracic Surgical Critical Care Unit within the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital which recently received the New York State DOH Number 1 ranking statewide for outcomes after Open Heart Surgeries.
I pioneered the 24/7/365 Cardiothoracic Surgical Critical Care Attending Service at Lenox Hill hospital since July 2013.
I coordinate the Cardiothoracic Surgery Pi Committee which was nominated for the Northwell Health President`s award.
I Chair the Lenox Hill Hospital Critical Care Services Committee since January 2017.
I am Board Certified in the Specialties of Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine & Neuro-Critical Care Medicine. I have devoted my career to the practice of the highly Sub-specialized field of Cardiothoracic Surgical Critical Care.
I completed my MBA, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma from the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi University. I am a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
I serve on faculty as Associate Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra University and as Clinical Associate Professor at the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
I have served on the Patient and Family Support committee and the Chapters Alliance Committee of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and served as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, 2018-2019.
