Dr. Kozyak is an attending physician in the Division of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He serves as Associate Director of the Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics ICU, with a focus on mechanical circulatory support, anti-platelet therapy, and translational research (gene therapy). He also leads point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and procedural education efforts in the CICU, as well as a Cardiac Center effort to develop consensus guidelines for vascular access in patients with congenital heart disease.
