Dr. Connor Trexler, MD is a pediatric critical care fellow at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City and is an active duty captain in the US Army. He completed his medical school training at Uniformed Services University and completed a pediatric residency at Madigan Army Hospital. He is passionate in research regarding ventilator management for patients with congenital cardiac defects who are diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome, and he hopes to expand research in this field. Additionally, he is engaged in improving and optimizing emergency response throughout hospitals and is an active member of his hospital's code blue committee. His future career goals include working on process optimization and quality improvement projects, as well as advancing medical transport and telehealth capabilities within the US military medical system and beyond.
