Nicklaus Children's Hospital
Camila Gonzalez Aragon, MD, is a chief resident a Nicklaus Children's Hospital and will be going to fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Texas Children's Hospital. She was born and raised in Costa Rica, and after finishing medical school she decided to pursue her love of pediatrics in the US. She completed her residency at Nicklaus Children's and is now completing her chief year there. Her love of critical care started when she was doing her sub-intership during her last year of medical school, and after that rotation, critical care became what she enjoys the most. She has a special interest in Onco-Critical Care, and wishes to pursue this during her fellowship. Outside of work, she is a runner (will be doing her second half marathon this January!), an avid reader and a volunteer with her pet therapy dog Cooper.
