Brendan Innes, MD is a critical care medicine fellow at Stanford University. He completed his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his residency training in emergency medicine at Brown. His current research and clinical interests include resuscitation optimization using point of care ultrasound and improving the quality of the care of patients transitioning between the emergency department and the ICU. During residency, he served as chief resident, the resident chair of the EM-ICU quality improvement committee, and was the recipient of teaching and house staff excellence awards. Brendan also has a strong interest in medical education and enjoys teaching learners across all phases of training.
