Dr. Deepshikha Ashana, MD, MBA, MS is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Duke University. Her research program uses mixed methods to identify mechanisms of inequities in critical care medicine and develop interventions and policy solutions to promote equitable critical care. Her current work focuses on how critical care clinicians engage racially minoritized patients and families in shared decision-making.
