Emily Dorgan, PharmD is the current PGY2 critical care pharmacy resident at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies she moved to Denver, Colorado for her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Emily completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Emily's professional interests include neurologic emergencies, management of infectious diseases in immunocompromised populations, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in critically ill, being a member of the code response team, as well as precepting and mentorship. This will be Emily's first time to attend SCCM Congress. She is looking forward to all the networking opportunities and educational programs provided at the critical care congress and hopes this will be her first of many congresses!
