Dr Antony Arumairaj MD is an academic hospitalist at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. Dr Arumairaj graduated from India in 2005 and completed his residency in Anesthesiology in 2009. He has completed his basic physician and emergency medicine training in Australia. Dr Arumairaj completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2021 from New York Medical College.
Dr. Arumairaj has shown keen interest in clinical research even as a medical student during his under graduation, has undertaken numerous research projects during his training in India, Australia and USA, and has published several papers in conferences and scientific journals worldwide. Dr Arumairaj has been a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine since 2019.
Dr Antony Arumairaj is keenly interested in pursuing a career in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine and clinical research. He has undertaken several (Biomedical Research Alliance of New York) BRANY IRB-approved research projects in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. He has published his research work at national conferences of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Chest Physicians and in scientific journals.
Dr Arumairaj serves as a mentor for residents and medical students in publishing case reports and scientific articles. He also serves as director of resident research in the Internal medicine residency program based at Metropolitan Hospital Center. In the future, Dr Arumairaj is looking forward to a combined academic and clinical career in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine to integrate his research and clinical interests.
