Adam Yazbeck MSN CPNP-AC, CPEN is a Senior Instructor in the Critical Care Section at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO). Prior to being a provider in the PICU starting in 2018, he was a certified pediatric emergency nurse in the Emergency Department at CHCO starting in 2014 and for a year prior to that at Children's of Alabama (Birmingham). Before beginning his journey in the medical field, Adam was a professional stage actor, primarily in the West Coast, performing both classical and modern plays for audiences. As a nurse Adam has presented his work on "Building a Culture of Caring and Empowerment" at regional and national nursing conferences, which focused on workplace empowerment and employee satisfaction. His non-clinical work in the PICU has focused largely on process and quality improvement projects, and completed his formal trianing in QI in 2021 as part of Colorado University's Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety and Efficiency (IHQSE)'s certificate training program. Adam looks forward to continuing to lead innovation in the QI space both in critical care and across the hospital.
