Pediatric Critical Care Fellow
Indiana University School of Medicine, Riley Hospital for Children
My name is Jatinder Dhami, MD and I am currently in my third year of Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. I was born and raised in New Jersey in a Punjabi household that consists of my parents, two younger brothers, my paternal grandmother and our family dog, Leo. I attend Rutgers University for undergraduate where I graduated magna cum laude with degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I completed my medical education at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. For Pediatric Residency, I moved to the sweetest place on Earth - Hershey where I completed residency at Penn State, where I developed my initial interest in diversity, equity and inclusion. This research interest has followed me to Riley, where majority of my work has focused on DEI. In addition to this work, I am pursuing a certificate in BioEthics this year. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, peloton-ing, keeping my urban jungle alive, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, spending time with our two dogs: Leo and Pluto!
