Dr. Sumit Singh's, MBBD, MD received his medical degree from Government Medical College at Punjabi University, followed by an MD in Anesthesiology from the same institution. He did a residency in Anesthesiology at Cook County Hospital, Chicago followed by a critical care fellowship at Stanford. Currently he holds a faculty position as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Singh has been instrumental in developing and implementing ultrasound curriculum for anesthesiology residents and critical care fellows at UCLA. His scholarly activities include numerous lectures, workshops and peer reviewed articles and book chapters on perioperative ultrasound and critical care echocardiography with emphasis on whole body ultrasound exam to aid diagnosis of critically ill patients and enhancing patient care through these modalities.
