Courtney Rowan, MD, MScr is a pediatric intensivist and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her clinical training at Indiana University. Her clinical and research interest included severe hypoxic respiratory failure, ARDS, and the critical care of the immunocompromised child. She has an active translational research program investigating biomarkers associated with critical illness and respiratory failure. She is an active participant in multicenter collaborative research initiatives both within critical care and hematology/oncology. She is also invested in mentoring. In addition to mentoring numerous trainees in research, she has served as the fellowship director of Pediatric Critical Care for the past 10 years. She also sits on the executive committee of the Morris Green Physician Scientist Development Program for pediatric residents and fellows at Indiana University.
