Associate Professor-Manager of Acute Care Pharmacy

Abdullah M. Alhammad is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since August 2017, he has been the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services and Drug Information at King Khalid University Hospital (KKUH), part of King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC).
For the past eight years, he has been actively engaged in providing clinical pharmacy services as a consultant clinical pharmacist in adult critical care services, as well as supervising pharmacy interns and residents. From 2016 to 2023, he directed the Postgraduate Year–2 (PGY2) Adult Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program at KSUMC.
Abdullah Alhammad is dual board-certified as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Critical Care Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. His current research and scholarly activities focus on advancing pharmacy education and training, as well as exploring and evaluating pharmacy practices and the quality of life in adult critically ill patients.
