Ila Sehgal, DO is a 3rd-year Pediatric Critical Care Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School in 2020 and was a Chief Resident from 2020 -2021. She is interested in rapid cycle deliberate practice, translational simulation, clinical debriefing, and resuscitation ergnomics. Her current fellowship research projects are focused on assessing the maintenance of high-quality resuscitation ergonomics during in-hospital cardiac arrests in the PICU, and evaluating whether the addition of the CPR coach improves high-quality CPR performance metrics during in-hospital cardiac arrests. She currently serves as the physician leader for the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta PICU Simulation Department. She is passionate about optimizing resuscitation efforts via clinical ergonomics and systems testing through simulation-based medical education.
