Dr. Meghan Galligan is a third fellow in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In May, 2021, she will complete the Master of Science and Health Policy Research (MSHP) degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is a dual fellow in the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Safety. Dr. Galligan’s academic interests are centered on the organizational science of healthcare delivery. She is particularly interested in understanding how a health system’s culture of safety and staff well-being impacts patient care and outcomes. Dr. Galligan completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at CHOP. She received her medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine, and her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from Harvard College.
