William Teeter is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (STC) with 22 years of experience in the medical field including prehospital medicine as a paramedic, critical care medicine, echocardiography and over 15 years of research experience. He completed a Clinical Research Fellowship funded by the Doris Duke Foundation, with additional post-doctoral research fellowships in Critical Care Resuscitation at the STC as well as Combat Casualty Care at NAMRU San Antonio. He has published extensively on the use of endovascular therapies in trauma including the use of video recording to evaluate procedural performance and the retention of skills. Most recently, he designed the high-fidelity video review program currently in use at STC as part of a big data machine learning grant from the Department of Defense.
